CTTL director Glenn Whitman, co-author of Neuroteach: Brain Science and the Future of Education was invited by The Alliance for Excellent Education to share the experience and research of the CTTL during the Alliance's "Bringing Mind, Brain, and Education Science to the Classroom" webinar. The Alliance is a Washington, DC–based national policy, practice, and advocacy organization "dedicated to ensuring that all students, particularly those who are traditionally undeserved, graduate from high school ready for success in college, work, and citizenship." The webinar was a reunion of sorts. The host of the webinar, Abner Oakes, is a former St. Andrew's teacher who currently the Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships for Policy to Practice for the Alliance.
