  • Middle School Performing Arts Students to Present 'The Wiz'

    Ease on Down the Road because the WIZ is coming to St. Andrew's May 18th at 7:30pm and May 19th at 3:00pm. The dynamic Middle School cast will bring this ageless, funny and touching story to you in song and dance. The tech crew is designing a fun set, suggested by Michael McShane, and the MS Show Band never sounded better. The book by William Brown and the music by Charlie Smalls is some of the best R and B from Motown. Come with Dorothy (Jewell Wooten) over the rainbow and meet the Wiz.

    Are you looking for a fun filled evening? Tired of re-runs on your television? Well then don’t miss an exhilarating performance by SAES: Dance Company Thursday night! The dancers have been working hard this trimester to build a spectacular show titled “Ever-Evolving Connections”. During this evening of dance you will have the opportunity to view new works by four student choreographers: Zsari Delaney, Drew Looney, Christian Mason, and Kaitlin Smith. Opening with a swing dance number and ending with dramatic classical music, this concert will take you on a journey of creativity, enchantment, and excitement.   • Cappies Review: 'St. Andrew’s Pippin an Outstanding Production'

The favorable recognition continues as the Cappies review of the musical labeled it 'an outstanding production' and highlighted the talents of the musical artists and production team.   • Join Us This Weekend for Our Winter Musical: Pippin!

    The St. Andrew’s Players, made of Upper School actors, musicians and theatre technicians, look forward to presenting Pippin.

    Performance Dates: Friday, February 22 at 7:30 pm, Saturday, February 23 at 2 pm and 7:30 pm Sunday, February 24 at 3 pm. Tickets are $3 for Students and Seniors and $7 for Adults. No reservations are necessary. The Saturday matinee will attended by student reviewers from the Cappies, and is free to all SAES students.
