Dear Parents and Guardians:
St. Andrew’s Episcopal School is pleased to continue to offer shuttle bus service for the 2012-13 academic school year to and from points in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Shuttle service is contracted by St. Andrew’s vendor, Rejoice Transportation LLC., a privately owned school bus company, founded by owners Gerald and Kimberly Alston. Rejoice has provided transportation services for thousands of passengers in the Greater Washington Metropolitan Area since 2004.
For those interested in forming carpools, a list of St. Andrew's families, sorted by zip code, can be found in the school Handbook and All School Directory.
For information regarding public transportation options via Montgomery County Transit’s Ride-On bus, schedules and routes are available at www.rideonbus.com or by calling (240)-777-7433.
Note that the first day of school, Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, is a full day schedule for students and shuttle bus services will operate on a regular schedule. Opening chapel ceremonies for all students will take place at the Washington National Cathedral, Friday, Sept. 7, 2012.
Shuttle buses will operate on a regular schedule and transport students directly to the cathedral and then back to St. Andrew’s at the conclusion of the service.
