Glenn arrived at St. Andrew’s in 1997 where he has been a History teacher, coach, advisor and is currently Dean of Studies for grades PS-12. Glenn is an All Kinds of Minds facilitator and author of Dialogue with the Past: Engaging Students and Meeting Standards through Oral History. Glenn directs the American Century Oral HIstory Project (www.theamericancenturyproject.org) at St. Andrew’s which is the largest pre-collegiate oral history archive in the United States. Glenn’s current research focuses on the neurodevelopmental demands of oral history as an educational methodology.

Monique McMillan-Jackson

Monique McMillan-Jackson is the Director of Summer Programs and Program Coordinator for The Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. Monique earned her BS in Accounting from Morgan State University, graduated from the Evangeline Booth College, and has completed graduate work at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to St. Andrew's, Monique was engaged in full-time ministry and academic administration at the Evangeline Booth College in Atlanta, Georgia. Monique has extensive experience working with youth and has led domestic and international service corps.mmcmillanjackson@saes.org

Amy Helms
Teach For America Partnership Coordinator

Amy Helms teaches fifth grade at St. Andrew's Episcopal School and helps facilitate the Teach For America partnership. Prior to coming to St. Andrew's, Amy was a Teach For America corps member in Washington, D.C., and taught in D.C. public schools. She also serves as a Content Specialist and Workshop Facilitators for Teach For America in the D.C. region. Amy has extensive experience applying Lucy Calkins Reader's and Writer's Workshop--that is part of Columbia University's Teacher College Reading and Writing Project--to her work with elementary school children. Amy earned her B.A. from Tufts University and her M.A.T. from American University.
